We specialise in adding expertise on a project basis to medium sized businesses that have core HR activity covered but need specific expertise over a fixed period of time.

Projects have included design and delivery of a bespoke Pay and Grading scheme for a medium sized Tenant Management Organisation.

We are a private company with c 200 staff, formed to manage the property portfolio and tenant relationships for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We inherited staff on a wide range of pay grades and conditions of service and over time have realised that we need our own bespoke pay and grading arrangements.

We have a great HR team but don’t have particular expertise in reward and in particular pay and grading systems.

I contracted Bedrock HR as they have specific experience in developing pay and grading schemes.

My dedicated consultant quickly understood the brief and worked attentively with myself, my HR colleagues and our Executive Team to understand the desired outcomes. An excellent pay and grading scheme has been developed that will serve our needs as we develop as a company.

The consultancy project brief covered design, grade modelling, assimilation of staff to new grades and conditions of service, costing, the approval process, consultation with trades unions and staff and finally implementation. We are well on the way to achieving completion.
